As some of our clients – and some of the friends of Moss Wood – will know, Xentum is hosting a very special event at Dominic’s home on Thursday, June 4th.
Our chosen charity for this year is The Christie, in Manchester, and we’ve committed to raising £10,000 to support the work of Professors work of Professors Peter Trainer and Georg Brabant and their team through the Endocrinology Research Fund, as they aim to improve the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer.
We’ll be organising a series of events throughout the year as we move towards our target, but we’ll also be working with The Christie throughout the year, also donating our time and expertise.
On Thursday 4th we’ll be hosting a joint presentation on tax-efficient ways of giving to charity, with the event starting at 10:30am and finishing around 2pm.
The common belief is that giving to charity involves putting your hand in your pocket or writing a cheque. This doesn’t have to be the case and there are a number of very tax-efficient ways you can donate to your chosen charity(ies), ranging from gift aid to leaving a legacy with several alternatives along the way.
We’ll be explaining all these on June 4th and The Christie will also be updating their patrons and supporters on the progress of their research.
If you are a Xentum client and you’d like details of how to do this then simply get in touch with us. We’ll be happy to explain it and/or give you copies of the presentation from the seminar.
